Temporary Sales Suite and Grices Road Closures
It has been some time coming but the extensive road works at the intersection of Grices Road / Soldiers Road and the gravel section of Grices Road between Leisurewood Drive / Macumba Drive and Soldiers Road is now underway.
During this period the Circa Sales Suite will be relocated to Eden Rise Village Shopping Centre, positioned beside the Eden Rise Florist, near the main entrance. The relocation will allow you to continue to visit Belinda and discuss your house and land requirements, while the construction is underway.
The road works are associated with residential development of the Clyde North area and form part of the upgrade and construction of Grices Road as a future arterial road and include a large roundabout at the intersection of Grices Road / Soldiers Road.
In order to facilitate the construction of the roundabout, the intersection will be closed to through traffic during the summer school vacation period with closures in place from the 9 December 2013 to the 27 January 2014. During this construction period there will be alternate routes in place to access Circa.
Soldiers Road will be reopened to traffic after the 27 January 2014 under worksite traffic control to ensure access is available to the Hillcrest College for the start of Term 1 2014.
Grices Road between Leisurewood Drive / Macumba Drive intersection and Soldiers Road will remain closed to through traffic for an extended period of potentially 6 to 9 months due to construction complexities in lowering the road over the crest. Once completed, Grices Road will provide a sealed road connection through to Soldiers Road.
The completion of the road works will allow for improved access to Circa, as well as to other surrounding amenities in the area. The roads will help mediate traffic flow during the peak pick up and drop off times for schools, allowing for a safer commute.
